About Maggie

Maggie is a very approachable counsellor who makes her clients feel understood and listened to in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. She is committed to improving clients emotional wellbeing and guiding them through their struggles so that they can find their way to a more healthier and happier life.

Community is important to Maggie, and this is evident with her volunteering for Griefline where she helps clients with grief and loss. Mentoring students at local high schools with the Raise Foundation.

She can assist clients who present with grief and loss issues, whether it be from the death of a loved one or the loss of a treasured item or pet. Life changing decisions. Loss of social connection. Work/life balance. Stress and anxiety. Teenage bullying and suicide ideation. Interpersonal relationships.

Maggie offers a person centred approach which involves the client being at the centre of the decision-making and having control over the services they receive. Her preferred modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy and Mindfulness.
