- Sandy is a Psychologist who holds qualifications from Australia in Business and Postgraduate in Psychology, and in Mental Health Promotion, with associated qualifications such as Certificate in Nutrition and Mental Health, Coaching or Couple therapy (and internship in Work Rehabilitation), with registration with AHPRA Psychology Board, and accredited under Workcover QLD/NSW/VIC..
- Result-focus: Sandy prides herself in being approachable and non-judgemental, but with a practical focus for daily life improvements for adolescents and adults.
- Advanced Therapy: Her main therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (similar to advanced CBT)* with mindfulness;which supports the development of mental health strength, awareness skills, flexibility and increasing individual's purpose in life,
- Holistic#: Sandy is curious of the world and the different systems that influence us. Her evidence-based holistic approaches include targeted diet for your brain and energy/sleep, combined with body/breath work. Eco-psychology includes nature-related practices as part of therapy. Aside from clear therapeutic guidance, she can offer a range of support from structured change management / coaching, to spiritual conversations in dealing with loss and change, or rediscovering purpose.
- Multi-therapies: Aside from ACT, a range of other therapeutic approaches are used pending symptoms: EFT, Gestalt, DBT/ emotion regulation, Process oriented, Polyvagal and somatic (body work), psycho-education (qualified trainer), stages of change, etc.
