About Beth

Beth is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who completed a Master of Clinical Psychology in 2002.  She has worked in the private practice setting for over 15 years, as well as in other various health, employment and educational settings, including Adult Community Mental Health, the Qld Health Hearing Loss Lamily Support Service where she really enjoyed learning Auslan, and The University of Queensland’s Student Support Services.

Beth has had experience in providing successful evidence-based therapy to both adolescent and adult clients with depressive and anxiety-related difficulties, stress, burnout, trauma, chronic pain, grief and loss and other adjustment issues. Beth has a special interest in the management of low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, nutrition and brain health, and women’s health and well-being across the lifespan. Beth enjoys conducting workshops as well as providing individual support.

Beth practices under the frameworks of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and has a depth of experience across these therapeutic modalities. She is passionate about supporting and encouraging people to overcome barriers and move forward to create a more richful and more meaningful values-based life for themselves.

Beth believes that creating a secure and warm therapeutic relationship and environment is integral to therapy being beneficial, with the aim of working collaboratively with each individual to ensure they achieve their identified therapeutic goals.
