About Alison

Alison is a Registered Psychologist with a degree from the University of Western Australia and postgraduate qualifications in Child, Youth, and Family Counselling. Her recent research on Emotion Regulation has been published in the peer-reviewed journal the Australian Psychologist. With a strong foundation in both academic research and clinical practice, her experience as a Registered Psychologist spans private practice and government-funded therapeutic and educational settings.

Alison brings a warm and engaging approach to her work, creating a compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment for her clients. Alison works with individuals to explore their concerns to gain valuable insights, cultivate fulfilling lives aligning with their values, build healthy, satisfying relationships, and enhance emotional well-being.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $210.00 per appointment ($230.00 per appointment on weekends)

Telehealth: Yes

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy:  Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 48 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate. For cancellations under 24 hours, 100% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Alison accepts bookings for adolescence 13+ and adults.

Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate when you have a valid mental health treatment plan and a referral letter from your GP prior to your psychology appointment.
You can still book an appointment without a mental health treatment plan, just be sure to have one ready before your session to be eligible for rebates.
