About Jodie

In her earlier career she worked in the field of Organisational Psychology within the public and private sector in a range of roles including; human resources, psychological assessment for employment and career/outplacement counselling and across many industry sectors such as Mining, Banking, Hospitality and Health.

Jodie adopts a range of treatment interventions depending on the client’s needs – including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness, Solution-focused Therapy, EMDR, Relaxation techniques and other psychotherapeutic approaches. Jodie’s style of counselling is warm and practical, and she values getting to the problem quickly and providing her clients with the necessary skills to move forward as well as dealing with any underlying issues. She seeks to engender a greater sense of well-being and acceptance both of self and others.

Jodie’s background in Behavioural Assessment and Analysis can offer clients from the business sector a clearer understanding of how their own behaviour can affect both their own work/leadership performance, and that of their team. With the use of individual and organisational psychometric tools (such as 16PF, DISC, Insight etc) she can advise and counsel to enhance productivity and adaptability in this time of change. Jodie has worked in the field of Outplacement and Career Counselling for the last 15 years and is able to provide a service to those employees and individuals affected by redundancy including practical support and counselling for the grief experienced when individuals are torn from their work/career through circumstances beyond their control.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $230.00 per appointment

Couples: $250.00 per appointment

Telehealth: Yes

Jodie works from our Floreat practice and has some after work and Saturday appointments.

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 48 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate. For cancellations under 24 hours, 100% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Jodi accepts appointments for individual clients age 18 + and couples.

Jodie runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate when you have a valid mental health treatment plan and a referral letter from your GP prior to your psychology appointment.
You can still book an appointment without a mental health treatment plan, just be sure to have one ready before your session to be eligible for rebates.
