Nicholas is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adult clients. He has a warm and empathic style and aims to provide a safe and supportive space during psychotherapy. Nicholas works in partnership with his clients, letting their goals and needs inform the work they do together.

He completed a combined PhD / Master of Clinical Psychology degree at Macquarie University in Sydney in 2008. Prior to qualifying as a clinical psychologist, he worked as a health promotion officer at NSW Department of Health, a case worker and a counsellor at a youth centre.

Nicholas is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists.

Nicholas can support individuals with a range of difficulties, including:

He welcomes human diversity as he works with his clients, including cultural diversity, diversity in sexual orientation and gender identity, neurodiversity and diversity in abilities.

Nicholas integrates a number of evidence-based modalities including:

• Cognitive behaviour therapy
• Mindfulness based approaches
• Schema therapy

Nicholas runs his own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable him to provide treatment to his clients.

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $280.00 per appointment

Telehealth: Yes

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.
