Debbie has over 25 years of experience working with children and teenagers who present with multiple and complex needs. She has deep and personal knowledge and insight gained from direct involvement with her family and extended family members who as teenagers suffered from mental health issues autism, and learning difficulties.

Treatment Approaches

Treatment modalities include child focused parent support, psychotherapy and play therapy. For older aged children and youth, Debbie uses mindfulness, relaxation, cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate when you have a valid mental health treatment plan and a referral letter from your GP prior to your psychology appointment.
You can still book an appointment without a mental health treatment plan, just be sure to have one ready before your session to be eligible for rebates.
